The main field of the carpet has a very dark base border, which is a wonderful backdrop to the magnificent floral arrangements of the motifs in the main field. On either side up and down of the central medallion are drops which are of the same color as the central medallion's motifs. The spandrels are a beautiful arrangement of patterns and colors. Some of the base color of the spandrel is an ivory white color, the other a pistachio green. The combination of colors and motifs are spellbinding. They sit together magnificently, and the carpet itself is a work of art. The most prominent feature of this carpet are in fact the patterns which are so reminiscent of spring rebirth. They are all curvilinear in shape, and there is a sense of movement and energy. This rug will sit spectacularly well in many different interior rooms. It is a true masterpiece, and quite exceptional in its beauty and composition.
