The carpets are made by tribes from the surrounding areas and are marketed in the bazaar in Shiraz. The impact of this carpet is great given the combination of colours which are very refined and muted shades of turquoise, teal and blues. The combination of those colours, particularly the blend of the very gentle hues and tones of the colours appearing everywhere including the 3 central medallions and the main border, produces an impressive overall effect.
