This is a most beautiful Russian antique rug that has a repeating pattern in its centre that looks like panels stacked on top of each other going A B then AB again and so forth, but each of the repeated panels have delightful variations to them so that the overall impact is massive. A great design that provides a result of considerable interest and which is certainly not boring. It would be spectacular in most settings, particularly an entrance room.
